How VitalSpark handles your data

VitalSpark is a fitness and wellness app operated for VitalSpark users. You can contact us at support@vitalsparkbyferdie.com for privacy, account, or deletion questions.

VitalSpark is not a medical provider and does not replace advice from a qualified health professional.

We collect account identifiers such as name, email address, user ID, authentication/session data, and profile preferences you provide.

We collect fitness and wellness information needed to run the app, including goals, fitness level, workout location, equipment, workout plans, workout session activity, RPE, progress check-ins, mindfulness logs, and health-related preferences you choose to provide.

We collect meal and nutrition information such as dietary preference, meal plans, meal records, water logs, budget preferences, and meal adherence data.

We collect coach and AI interaction content when you use coaching or generated guidance features.

We collect device, diagnostic, product-event, and security data used to keep the app reliable, investigate abuse, and understand product usage.

Billing and entitlement records may include provider, plan, status, and subscription identifiers needed to manage access. Payment card details are handled by payment providers, not stored directly by VitalSpark.

We use information to create and save your account, generate and adapt workout, meal, progress, mindfulness, and coaching experiences, sync your data across devices, provide support, keep the service secure, analyze reliability, and meet legal or policy requirements.

We use health, fitness, and meal information only to provide wellness features, personalization, safety context, and progress tracking.

We use service providers for infrastructure, authentication, database hosting, analytics/diagnostics, AI processing, payments, email, and app distribution. These providers process data for service operation, security, support, or legal compliance.

We may disclose limited information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or to investigate security abuse. We do not claim that provider-held records are deleted instantly from every third-party system.

VitalSpark may use AI providers to generate workout, meal, mindfulness, and coaching content. AI output can be helpful but may be incomplete or wrong. Do not treat AI guidance as medical advice.

Avoid entering information you do not want processed for coaching or personalization.

We use authentication, access controls, row-level ownership rules, encrypted transport, server-side provider calls, and operational logging to protect data. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

Sensitive server credentials, service-role keys, and provider secrets are not used in the Android client.

You can request account deletion inside the Android app from Profile > Account management > Delete account. The server deletes user-owned app data before deleting the Supabase Auth identity.

Workout, meal, profile, device, coach, mindfulness, progress, and local entitlement records are deleted where supported. Product events and audit logs may be anonymized. Pseudonymized deletion evidence may be retained for up to 30 days to prove deletion and support abuse/security review.

Some provider, legal, security, backup, or payment records may be retained where required or controlled by a service provider.

VitalSpark is intended for a general fitness and wellness audience and is not directed to children. Users should use the app only where they are old enough to consent or have any required parent/guardian permission.

You can contact support@vitalsparkbyferdie.com to ask for help accessing, correcting, or deleting your account data. We may need to verify that you control the account before acting on privacy or deletion requests.

We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
